International Dot Day

RHMS students celebrated International Dot Day! The day inspires creativity, courage and collaboration.  

 

The Dot is a story by Peter H. Reynolds, that tells a tale of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing. 

 

The students always love to join together on this special day to unite in song at our RHMS Welcome Back assembly, reflect on the story and its meaning, and create stunning artwork as a reminder that there is power and a potential of creativity in all that they do!
