Uniform Requirements

Wearing the complete school uniform each day is required of all elementary students. Uniform requirements by grade and gender are outlined below. The Elementary classroom teacher will conduct a uniform check daily. The order guide of our uniform supplier clearly indicates which uniform pieces are mandatory and which pieces are optional. Students who are not wearing the school uniform properly or in its entirety will have marks deducted from Learning Skills for students in grades one to six. Students in grades seven and eight are expected to be role models for their younger peers.

Purchase your uniforms in advance

Students must purchase their uniform prior to the beginning of the school year. We advise that your purchase be made early in the summer to ensure proper sizing and on time delivery. To assist our families, early in June, our uniform supplier brings the store to us, allowing you and your child to view and try on the various components of the full uniform. Making your purchase before the new school year begins helps to ensure your child will be dressed appropriately for their first day of school.

Uniform Guidelines For Montessori Girls

Female students in the Montessori Program are expected to be well-groomed and dressed in the complete official school uniform at all times. The uniform for girls is listed below.

Montessori:

a) Black tights or knee high socks
b) Side pleated tunic dress
c) Grey dress socks with pants
d) School cardigan with crest
e) Short or long-sleeved white polo shirt
f) Track pants on gym days only

Optional:

Grey pants

Skort

Scrunchies or stretch headbands

Uniform For Elementary Girls

Female students in Grades One to Eight are expected to be well-groomed and dressed in the complete official school uniform at all times. The uniform for girls is listed below.

Grades One to Eight:

a) Black dress shoes must be worn during class time - - non marking soles
b) Black tights or knee high socks
c) Grades 1-3 side pleated tunic dress or grey pants
d) School sweater with crest
e) Grades 4-8 Kilts and kilt shorts or grey pants
f) School Cardigan
g) Short or long- sleeved white blouse

Grades Four to Eight: Black school blazer and tie. A solid black tie may be worn with the kilt.

Optional:
Crested golf shirt
Skort
Scrunchie

The tunic dress and kilt are to be long enough to graze the knee.

For Elementary students, the required gym uniform is as follows:

a) White gym shirt with school crest

b) Gym shorts with crest

c) Crested fleece sweatpants & sweatshirt

d) White sweat socks

e) Proper running shoes with non-marking soles

Uniform Guidelines for Montessori Boys

Male students in the Montessori Program are expected to be well-groomed and dressed in the complete official school uniform at all times. The uniform for boys is listed below.

Montessori:

a) Grey dress socks
b) Grey dress pants
c) School cardigan with crest
d) Short or long-sleeved polo white shirt
e) Track pants on gym days only

Optional:

Grey trouser shorts

Uniforms For Elementary Boys

Male students in Grades One to Eight are expected to be well-groomed and dressed in the complete official school uniform at all times. The uniform for boys is listed below.

Grades One to Eight:

a) Black dress shoes must be worn during class time -non marking soles
b) Grey dress pants
c) Grey dress socks
d) School sweater with v-neck crest
e) Short or long sleeved white shirt
f) Grades 1-3: Black Cardigan or v-neck sweater and tie

Grades Four to Eight: Black school blazer and tie.

Optional:
Crested golf shirt
Grey trouser shorts

For Elementary students, the required gym uniform is as follows:

a) White gym shirt with school crest

b) Gym shorts with crest

c) Crested fleece sweatpants & sweatshirt

d) White sweat socks
