As I am at the doorsteps of a new beginning, I see a beautiful bright road wide open, expecting me. I am leaving RHMS without regrets, proud of my accomplishments thus far. I would like to give some advice to all students at the school about what I find essential in life - determination, a good attitude and effort.
Do not be afraid of showing determination in whatever you do.
Through life's challenges and obstacles, through your mistakes (which I would personally rename "life's most valuable lessons"), you will fall and get up again, eventually feeling good about not giving up and profiting from a growing self-esteem; never forget your goal and being brave to pursue it no matter what! Remember this Japanese proverb and think of it when life is tough: "Fall seven times, stand up eight".
You can achieve anything that you set your mind to.
Remember to look at the positive side of everything. Believe in yourself and the fact that you are going to make it no matter what path you're on and when. Do what you love and love what you do and you will feel real with a wonderful purpose and outlook in life. Be kind to yourself and others. Think of something positive each day, do something positive each day. Take note of this quote that will give you a little shake when needed: "The only disability in life is a bad attitude".
It is not how much you do but how you do it that will make a real and significant difference in your life and in the life of others around you.
Take risks - succeed and fail with pride and feel satisfied because you tried, because you put 100% effort in order to reach your objectives. You will not have a negative feeling after doing your best. Then you will be able to appreciate the fruits of your labour - your personal and invaluable rewards. Recall what Mahatma Gandhi said: "Satisfaction lies in the effort, not the attainment. Full effort is full victory".
