RHMS Grade 4 students embarked on an enriching excursion to the Royal Ontario Museum, immersing themselves in their Social Studies unit on early societies. During a workshop, they delved into comparisons between these early societies and contemporary life. Through hands-on exploration of various artifacts, students learned about the daily lives of different societies through their beliefs, food, games, clothing, and writing.
By comparing the various early societies to present-day, students sparked insightful discussions about differences and similarities which helped them develop a deeper understanding of the world and different civilizations.
