RHMS students have been reflecting on Truth and Reconciliation Day. They learned about the Indigenous people, their history, culture and some of the contributions that were made. The students also had the opportunity to create various pieces of work to reflect on their learning and inspire one another. 

We would like to acknowledge a thoughtful grandparent from our RHMS Community, who graciously created and donated a Witness Blanket to honour Indigenous Communities.  She took inspiration from Karen Erickson a Metis - Cree artist who created the original artwork on the blanket.  

Let us continue to practice reconciliation in our everyday lives—within ourselves, our families and in our communities.
