Community Of Giving

RHMS has commenced our Community of Giving initiative. The students are encouraged to identify a need in the community, find a way to show kindness and then share their efforts to inspire each other to give back all year long. By being aware of identifying a need and then showing support, the students show leadership and build special traits such as empathy and generosity. 

A few ways the students are spreading cheer this holiday season is by creating greeting cards with a positive message for the seniors at the Rise & Shine Seniors project. Our school community has also started our Winter Food Drive giving back to the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank.

These initiatives encourage our students to connect with our community to help make it a better place.
