Every Note Tells A Story

Congratulations to the RHMS Honours Band for winning 2nd place platinum at the Toronto Kiwanis Festival! The Toronto Kiwanis Festival is a celebration of music, dance, dramatic and visual arts in an inclusive artistic environment focused predominantly on students and youth.

The RHMS Band members worked very hard to develop the skills and musicianship needed to perform challenging music with a strong sense of musicality. Our dedicated band members performed for other competing groups during the festival and were delighted to receive a short master class from Mr. Jeffery Reynolds.  Mr. Reynolds teaches trumpet and conducting at the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto, as well as conducting the Wind Symphony.
