The Wonders Of The Night Sky

RHMS Grade 8 students have been learning about the Earth, Sun and Moon system in STEM class. They took their learning outside of the classroom on a trip to the Richmond Hill David Dunlop Observatory!  

The students had an amazing time learning about Canada's largest telescope up close and personal.  They immersed themselves in the wonders of the night sky using the Stellarium application on a full wall screen projection! We are ready for more celestial magic as we look forward to the upcoming April 8th Solar Eclipse!
